Welcome to our cat portraits gallery for paintings in oils on linen canvas and graphite pencil portraits. Nick completes all of the oil paintings on canvas and I, Melanie, produce the pencil and tinted portraits. All of the oil portraits you see below are traditionally hand painted and drawn by us in our studio in Wales.
Cats are very delicate creatures, often with fine, silky velvety fur and Nick captures their fur beautifully using fine traditional oils on the best quality linen canvas. Pencil drawings are hugely versatile allowing for multiple studies and sketches in a montage style, or a tinted areas.
